How good is your sleep hygiene?

Apart from sleeping and sex, these are activities that I engage in, in my bed:

Watching TV or browsing the computer/mobile device
Eating
Reading
My bed is reserved just for sleep/rest and sex

I partake of the following daily:

Nicotine
Caffeine (this includes chocolate!)- but at least 6 hours before I sleep
Caffeine- every day, anytime of the day!
More than one drink of alcohol a day
Some combination of nicotine, alcohol, and caffeine
None of the above

I have my dinner…

Usually within a couple of hours of bedtime and it’s pretty heavy.

This is my bedtime ritual:

Facebook
Falling asleep in front of the TV
Something soothing like a massage or bath, light reading, cuddling with someone I love
Working

In the morning or afternoon, at least 4 hours before bedtime

When the spirit moves me, and it rarely moves me…

The following describes my sleeping space:

stuffy, with poor ventilation
the room is not entirely dark when I go to sleep
the room is slightly (or very) noisy
More than one of the above
peaceful, quiet, slightly cool, well ventilated, and very dark when it’s time for sleep
